Jakarta (Indonesia Window) – The Indonesian government under President Prabowo Subianto is currently actively increasing the role of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) both domestically and abroad, one of which is reviving and
expanding market networks abroad, including Japan.

Heri added that HHT can be used as an anchor for pilot projects in developing MSMEs abroad.
“This initiative reflects the spirit of Indonesian business actors and communities in Japan in introducing Indonesian craft products to the Japanese people," Ambassador Heri Akhmadi said in his remarks before inaugurating HHT in Tokyo.
The activity of reviving Indonesian Handicraft of MSMEs in Japan was very beneficial, because to expand the market base, market penetration must be carried out, including establishing this HHT.
"Hopefully this activity will provide broad benefits for all parties involved and will improve day by day," he continued.
Toyota Motor Corporation Chairman Honma Hideaki also praised the efforts to make HHT a shared home for Indonesian MSMEs in Japan.
"A very good initiative so that Indonesian handicraft products can enter Japan more easily after there is such an Indonesian handicraft center (HHT).
Several Japanese company leaders came to the inauguration of HHT this morning. At least 50 entrepreneurs attended the opening ceremony including Japanese micro, small and medium entrepreneurs Indonesian businesspeople in Japan and Indonesian experts who are Japanese citizens that really love Japan. There are no problems with customs in Japan.
The name and image of Indonesian MSMEs are also increasingly shining and their existence is recognized in the international market because they have an office in Japan, according to Richard Susilo, one of the leaders of HHT.
