This international student exchange activity is also one of the programs to support the policy on Independent Learning - Independent Campus (locally known as MBKM).

Jakarta (Indonesia) – The Communications and Business Institute of LSPR (London School of Public Relations) Jakarta has sent 50 students who join the student exchange, Study Abroad, Erasmus+ and the IISMA (Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards) programs to study abroad since Aug. 6 until Sept. 10, 2022.

LSPR sent the students to its partners abroad including those in Denmark, the Netherlands, South Korea, Spain, Australia, Malaysia, Russia, Thailand, the U.K., Czech Republic, Italy, and Hungary, LSPR said in a statement received here on Monday.

According to LSPR, this year there were also four students of the higher learning institution, who managed to get the IISMA scholarship, namely Indira Rachel from the Communication Science study program to the University of Birmingham, the U.K.; Queenaurelia Athalia Seavedra Undap from the Communication Science study program to Palacký University Olomouc, Czech Republic; Brigitta Annabella from the Communication Studies program to the University of Padua, Italy, and Kartiko Wirawan Suprobo from the PJJ Communication Studies program to Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.

The Director of the Office of International Affairs Candy Hernandez has congratulated LSPR and all students as well as parents who support their children's participations in this international learning program.

Candy quoted Maxwell Maltz, an American writer of Psycho-Cybernetics, as saying, “often the difference between successful people and unsuccessful people is not in the ability or better idea, but in the courage that one must have to stick to his or her ideas and take calculated risks and actions to be taken”.

Meanwhile, Deputy Rector I for Academic and Research Dr Janette Maria Pinariya shared her message about the international learning program.

"We hope that every year students participating in the MBKM program can continue to increase. I congratulate the students who have had the opportunity, and there is nothing worse than missing an opportunity that can change your life forever," Janete said.

She further said there is a better community out there so do not be afraid to try something new, and this helps students know more about themselves and studying abroad is one of the most effective ways to change the way they see the world.

"On behalf of the LSPR Institute of Communication and Business, I bid farewell and I wish you all a very bright and prosperous journey ahead," she added.

The student exchange and Study Abroad are programs designed for LSPR students in an effort to strengthen and increase competence and prepare students with global competencies as well as an effort to anticipate intense global competition in various aspects.

This year LSPR set its own record in sending a total of 50 students consisting of students from the study programs of Communication Studies, Management, and Business Services to various university partners abroad.

LSPR provides a forum and opportunity for its students to study in a multicultural environment and interact with foreign students and lecturers who are expected to gain a global and broad perspective of learning as well as a space to interact and build global relationships and networks together with students abroad.
