The series of activities leading up to the volunteer deployment includes a land convoy and peaceful demonstrations in each participating country.
The culminating event will be marked by the flag-off of the Flotilla delegations, scheduled for Sunday, August 24, 2025, at Dataran Merdeka, Kuala Lumpur.
Previously, three Indonesian delegates from the Aqsa Working Group (AWG) also took part in the Sumud Nusantara convoy that took place in the Maldives and Thailand.
Their presence marks Indonesia's active participation in regional efforts to open humanitarian access for the Palestinian people.
The Sumud Nusantara convoy itself is a joint initiative of various NGOs in Southeast Asia.
