Bogor, West Java (Indonesia Window) – As the cost of medicines, medical treatment and hospital services become more and more expensive for the poor, a humanitarian organization, Qatar Charity, provides free health services by building a number of clinics in some areas in Indonesia, one of which is the Dompet Dhuafa-Qatar Charity Hospital in Parung, Bogor Regency.

Alhamdulillah all the construction processes have been completed and now ready to serve all people in Bogor and surrounding areas," Head of Dompet Dhuafa Hospital dr. Zakaria said in a statement received by Indonesia Window here on Friday.
He explained that the hospital, which was established in 2012, is the one with a holistic concept.
In addition to having a green environment (green hospital), the hospital is also equipped with several facilities such as those for outbound, archery and lodging.
Zakaria noted that the hospital which has 60 beds provides free services for the underprivileged, including ulemas (Muslim clerics).
"All services are free for the poor, including Muslims. It is estimated that the hospital serves 1,100 inpatients every month," Zakaria said.
PartnerMeanwhile, Head of Qatar Charity Indonesia for Construction Hendra Hadi, the holistic hospital is a contribution of Qatar Charity to the poor in Indonesia.
"The construction of the Dhuafa Integrated Hospital was inspired by Qatar Charity's concern about the high cost of health access and services, especially for the poor," Hendra said.
He added, the idea of the Qatar NGO was followed up by choosing the right and competent partners in providing free health services for the poor.
"Several local hospitals that are already operating had been selected, and finally Dompet Dhuafa was chosen as the partner for hospital development," Hendra siad.
The hospital has a three-story building, with an area of 600 square meters each.
The hospital will be a place for examination of external diseases with all specializations equipped with operating rooms, emergency room, intensive care unit (ICU), polyclinics, inpatients and nutrition kitchens.
The total funds provided by Qatar Charity to build the free hospital amount to RQ4,000,000 or around US$1,098,674.
